I have to convey to you my approval of the Supplementary Estimate, which accompanied your despatch in reply to this Letter the following Number should be quoted.

I have had before them your letter of 28th August respecting the proposal to allow Mr. Kydd the sum of $20 per mensem for chair hire while engaged in the superintendence of the Praya Wall Works. I am to state, for the information of the Duke of Buckingham and Chandos, that my Lords are not aware that any further explanation is necessary with regard to the information represented in the letter from this Department of 20th July.
